Is this RIM's BlackBerry 10 development device?
You know the drill -- grab yourself a spoonful of Morton's and get ready for another supposed leak of a gadget. This time around, you're looking at what's claimed as being one of Research In Motion's BlackBerry 10 "Development Alpha" devices that'll be handed out during next week's BlackBerry Jam -- just like the company promised a month ago. Images of the device first surfaced over at Crackberry's forums and, as the site points out, the touchscreen candy bar seems to share its design DNA with the PlayBook. Keeping in mind that it's likely to remain a testing device for devs, don't bank on it ever hitting store shelves. That said, we're now curious how pivotal a roll RIM's famous tactile keyboards will play on its next-generation phones -- if any. Head over to the source links below if you'd like to catch more photos from Mr. Blurrycam and extra information in the meantime.

Nintendo's gunning for retailers, expanding eShop offerings for Wii U, 3DS
Nintendo is going to sell its 3DS and Wii U games through the eShop as well as on the high street. Concerned about the money wasted in "inventory," the company will let consumers choose where they get their fix from. The first two games to get the treatment will be New Super Mario Bros 2 and Onitore Brain Training (working title) for the handheld, with more expected in the future. As consumers transition to downloads, the company will keep its brick-and-mortar partners on-side by allowing them to sell "activation codes" to the digital titles -- although that does mean you'll have to drive down to Gamestop and back.

Wallpaper. Drops Best Video 'Everrr,' Because He Can
'I was trying to spend as much of the label's money as possible,' he tells MTV News of new live-action clip for 'F---ing Best Song Everrr.'
By James Montgomery
You're probably wondering why Bay Area party-meister Wallpaper. decided it was time to make a live-action video for his breakout track "F---ing Best Song Everrr," especially since the animated version has already racked up millions of views.
Well, it's pretty simple, actually: Because he wanted to.
"Why make a live-action video after the cartoon video was so dope?" he asked rhetorically. "The bottom line is, I was trying to spend as much of the label's money as possible."
So, budgets be damned, on Thursday (April 26), we finally got the world premiere of said live-action clip, an avant-garde exploration of man's deepest desires, a willfully difficult dissertation on the battle between the moralism of the super ego and the hedonism of the id.
Not really.
Actually, it's mostly about people getting sh--faced and vomiting confetti. Margaritas are also served.
And that's basically what the self-proclaimed "virtual-media hustler and disco-ball-busting crowd destroyer" was looking for. After all, even though his song may come with a rather braggadocious title, it's really about those moments of reckless abandon when the song you're listening to takes on epic proportions and you lose yourself in the moment. Maybe margaritas have been served, and perhaps you actually will throw up some glitter.
"The song isn't necessarily the best song ever," he explained. "It's about having the kind of night or the kind of moment where any record feels like the best song ever."
And love him or hate him, you've got to give Wallpaper. some credit: It takes genuine smarts to create a track (and video) like "F---ing Best Song Everrr," which delights in getting supremely, sublimely stoopid.

Ikea cardboard digital camera: when Instagram isn't authentic enough (video)
Forget TVs. Want something more whimsical and lo-fi than Instagram? This is a digital camera made of cardboard that Ikea included with its press kit at this year's Milan Design Week. It runs on two AA batteries (Ikea-branded, natch) and features a swing-out USB plug, viewfinder cutout, shutter key and paperclip-friendly erase button. While there are no details on the sensor, lens or storage capacity, the camera holds up to 40 pictures. It's expected to land in Ikea stores at some point but exact pricing and availability are still a mystery. No matter -- this camera is sure to impress hipsters everywhere (and yes, that includes us). Awesome demo video after the break.
